Phosphate Rock

The largest single open-pit mine in China, Chuanyandong Mine, has a designed annual production capacity of 3.5 million tons, making it the "largest" in the field of open-pit phosphate mining in China.

It wasn't until the late 1950s that the selfless dedication of the phosphate industry practitioners led to the discovery of this precious land, unlocking the mystery by developing and utilizing the abundant phosphorus ore resources hidden deep in the mountains.

Currently, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group has 9 phosphorus mining areas in Kaiyang County, Fuquan City in southern Guizhou, and Weng'an County. These areas account for nearly 80% of the country's high-quality phosphorus ore reserves. The Group has gradually developed a capacity of approximately 17 million tons of phosphate ore, making it one of the world's most active phosphorus mines. It is also the largest open-pit and underground phosphate rock mining company in China.
