GPC Holds Talks with China University of Mining and Technology

On October 21, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group (GPC) held an exchange discussion with a delegation from China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT).

GPC extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation and expressed gratitude to CUMT for its continuous supply of high-caliber talent to the Group. As GPC accelerates the intelligent and green transformation of its mining operations, the demand for high-level professionals and cutting-edge technical support keeps growing. The Group looks forward to further deepening university-enterprise collaboration and establishing a regular communication mechanism. Both sides will carry out pragmatic cooperation in talent development and exchange, research and development of key technologies, and experience sharing for the construction of national key laboratories, so as to share resources, complement strengths and achieve win-win development.

Representatives from CUMT noted that Guizhou’s strategy of "refined processing of abundant mineral resources" and GPC’s industrial layout are highly aligned with the university’s academic disciplines. Taking this discussion as an opportunity, CUMT expects to deepen industry-university-research cooperation focusing on priority areas including intelligent mine construction and efficient development and utilization of mineral resources. Joint talent training will be strengthened to tackle industrial innovation and technical challenges, enabling two-way empowerment for both the university and the enterprise. Together, the two parties aim to make greater contributions to the efficient exploitation and utilization of mineral resources in China.

The meeting was attended by heads of relevant schools and departments of CUMT, relevant department leaders of GPC, as well as alumni of CUMT working at the Group.
