The Guizhou Wengfu Jiangshan New Materials and Electronic Chemicals Project, jointly built by Wengfu Group under China GPC and Nantong Jiangshan Agrochemical & Chemicals Co., Ltd., is a smart chemical industrial park integrating wet and thermal phosphoric acid production, organic and inorganic chemical manufacturing, as well as the full spectrum of “three acids and two alkalis”.
Up to now, China GPC has developed a diverse portfolio of industrial lines covering mining development, modern agriculture, fine chemicals, and new energy. It has established 8 production bases across the country and its products are sold in more than 30 countries and regions worldwide, with its production and sales network undergoing continuous optimization and improvement. The successive implementation and commissioning of related projects have not only refined the local industrial system, but also boosted the development of supporting industries such as energy, logistics, and equipment manufacturing, fostering an industrial pattern characterized by multi-point support and coordinated advancement.
The key to industrial synergy lies in the “chain”. Guided by market demand and technological progress, China GPC steadfastly pushes the extension of the phosphorus chemical industry towards refinement and high-end orientation. China GPC has been committed to turning phosphogypsum from an “environmental burden” into an “industrial resource”, exploring an advanced, cost-effective, replicable and scalable path for the value-added utilization of phosphogypsum. Through comprehensive deployment of technological R&D and industrial transformation for phosphogypsum resource utilization, it has basically established three major industrialization routes: “phosphogypsum-based building materials”, “phosphogypsum-to-sulfuric acid coupled with cementitious materials production”, and “phosphogypsum-based municipal and packaging materials”.
Particularly in addressing phosphogypsum disposal, a common challenge plaguing the industry, China GPC has continued to advance the construction of comprehensive utilization projects. Through technological breakthroughs and engineering applications, it has steadily improved the level of phosphogypsum resource utilization. At present, multiple sets of phosphogypsum comprehensive utilization facilities of the group are operating stably, with most of the phosphogypsum being converted into industrial-grade raw materials, building materials and packaging materials, effectively alleviating the pressure of phosphogypsum stockpiling.
Only by treating by-products as resources in overall planning can true industrial synergy be achieved. By incorporating phosphogypsum utilization into its overall industrial layout, China GPC has not only reduced environmental risks, but also created new value growth points for the enterprise. Earlier this year, Wengfu Heilongjiang Agriculture Co., Ltd. was officially inaugurated in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province. With the core vision of “building a regionally leading high-quality agricultural capital industrial chain sales platform”, the company is promoting the construction of a comprehensive agricultural service platform and improving its nationwide layout. This initiative better serves the cause of “agriculture, rural areas, and farmers”, and fulfills the responsibility of Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Industry Group as a state-owned enterprise to ensure the stable supply and price of chemical fertilizers and safeguard national food security.
