Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group Holds "Volunteer Pioneers · Five Supports for Rural Vitalization" Special Campaign in Rongjiang County
On June 16, the special campaign themed "Volunteer Pioneers · Five Supports for Rural Vitalization" hosted by Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group (hereinafter referred to as GPC) was held in Gaowen Village, Guzhou Town, Rongjiang County.More than 100 people participated, including leading officials from the Group and relevant departments of Rongjiang County, young volunteers, representatives of the Gaowen Village "two committees", beneficiaries of assistance, students, and other villagers.
As a state-owned enterprise, GPC always keeps its responsibilities in mind and regards supporting rural vitalization as a major political and social obligation. In response to the actual needs of Rongjiang, the campaign focuses on the "Five Supports" by launching a series of services including material donations, agricultural technology promotion, environmental improvement, free medical treatment and haircuts, and care for the elderly and children, aiming to deliver tangible benefits and solve practical problems for the villagers. The young volunteers would carry forward the volunteer spirit of "dedication, friendship, mutual assistance and progress", bring technologies to the fields and warmth to the people. The resident work team will continue rooting at the grassroots level, work hand in hand with the village "two committees" and villagers to jointly build a harmonious and beautiful countryside suitable for living and working.
GPC has supported Rongjiang with sincere feelings, abundant resources and strong responsibilities, providing substantial support in industrial development, infrastructure construction and other fields. The "Five Supports" special campaign precisely targets the most concerned, direct and realistic needs of rural residents, fully demonstrating the political responsibility of GPC as a state-owned enterprise and its profound friendship with the people of Rongjiang. Rongjiang County claimed that they will cherish the support opportunity and gather strength to elevate rural vitalization to a new level.
During the donation ceremony, GPC donated 314,000 kg of chemical fertilizer and 130,000 kg of cement to Rongjiang County, as well as study supplies, sports goods and daily necessities worth more than 30,000 yuan to students of the primary school in the resident village.
After the ceremony, young volunteers went to various service sites to carry out voluntary services.
They set up free medical stations at the village committee square to measure blood pressure and blood sugar for villagers and provide health consultation, while offering free haircut services for the elderly, entered the village primary school to deliver safety and self-protection education to left-behind children, covering anti-drowning, anti-abduction and traffic safety, visited left-behind elderly at home and delivered daily necessities,and assisted in village environmental improvement by cleaning up debris on main roads, rivers and other public areas.
In addition, young volunteers went to farmlands to explain fertilizer properties and application techniques to growers, distribute agrochemical product manuals, and answer questions on scientific fertilization and soil improvement. They also helped the village Party branch organize the Party building activity room, standardize archives and documents, and donated books for Party building study.
