New Green Momentum! Wengfu Phosphate Mine Puts Pure Electric Mining Trucks into Official Operation
On September 21, Chuanyandong Mine of Wengfu Phosphate Mine held a delivery and launch ceremony for new energy pure electric wide-body trucks. Customized by Shaanxi Tongli Heavy Industry, these trucks were officially put into on-site operation, marking a solid step in the mine’s equipment electrification and green low-carbon transformation and injecting green momentum into the high-quality development of open-pit mines.
As a modern benchmark phosphate mine in China, Chuanyandong Mine previously adopted traditional fuel mining trucks for ore and waste rock transportation. High energy consumption, high emissions and high maintenance costs have become prominent constraints on the construction of green mines. The newly delivered 75-ton pure electric wide-body trucks have passed field trials and fully adapt to the mine’s working conditions. Tailored for complex mining scenarios and equipped with advanced domestic new energy battery technology, the trucks feature high reliability, prominent energy-saving performance, zero pollution and zero emissions, with long endurance and strong power to support all-weather stable operation.
Chuanyandong Mine has completed comprehensive reviews of the eight pure electric wide-body trucks covering factory documents, technical parameters and inspection results, confirming all equipment qualified for formal production. In the next stage, mining teams will implement certified operation and standardized management, improve full-process equipment management ledgers, and strengthen daily inspection and regular maintenance. The manufacturer will arrange a dedicated on-site service team to provide 24-hour full-response support for technical guidance, maintenance and emergency repair.
