Recently, the 2×20kt/a multi-functional and flexible food additive phosphate project undertaken by Wengfu Jianfeng Company, a subsidiary of GPC, has successfully passed the mechanical completion acceptance inspection and officially entered the trial production preparation stage. This milestone marks a significant upgrade in GPC’s product supply and service capabilities in the food-grade phosphate niche market.

Food additive phosphates are widely used in meat products, aquatic products, dairy products, baking, condiments and other fields, playing a crucial role in enhancing product stability, texture, water retention and processing adaptability. As the downstream food industry accelerates its development toward standardization, refinement and high quality, the market demand for food phosphate products featuring high purity, compound functionality and flexible application scenarios keeps growing steadily.

During the project implementation, all relevant departments of  GPC collaborated closely and synergized effectively. They benchmarked against food additive industry standards throughout the entire process—from compliance approval, process design optimization and equipment selection to safety and quality control—laying a solid foundation for the project’s stable operation and market expansion in the subsequent phase. During the mechanical completion acceptance inspection, professional teams conducted on-site verification and document review, and unanimously confirmed that the project construction quality and equipment conditions meet the requirements for trial production.

To respond to market demand with this project, GPC will comprehensively promote inter-unit commissioning, process parameter optimization and product validation, expedite the transformation of trial production achievements into stable commercialization capabilities, and continuously improve the quality consistency and market competitiveness of food phosphate products. Moving forward, the project will form synergy with GPC’s existing phosphorus chemical industry system, further improve the food phosphate product portfolio, and contribute solidly to GPC’s continuous expansion of market space and cultivation of new growth drivers in the refined and functional phosphorus chemical sector.
