To keep pace with cutting-edge technological advances in the radiation curing industry and explore application opportunities for UV monomers and photocurable materials in new energy vehicles, microelectronic displays, photoresists and other sectors, Jiangsu Ruiyang participated in the 2026 Forum on Radiation Curing Technology Innovation and Hot-Spot Application Development held on October 20–21.

At the forum

The event brought together academic experts and technical leaders from leading enterprises across the industry. Special presentations and in-depth discussions focused on hot topics including UV curing for new energy vehicles, optical coatings, photoresists and lithium battery insulation materials. Insights shared at the forum show that radiation curing technology is rapidly expanding beyond traditional inks and coatings into high-reliability scenarios such as automotive electronics, power batteries and semiconductor displays. The industry’s technical evaluation priorities are shifting: in addition to curing efficiency and basic mechanical properties, low migration, electrolyte resistance, resistance to yellowing under humid and hot conditions, and insulation stability have become core assessment criteria for high-end customers. Meanwhile, new systems such as cationic photocurable expanding monomers continue to evolve. Serving as an effective complement to free-radical acrylic systems, they offer new solutions to interfacial debonding caused by curing shrinkage.

This attendance has gathered valuable industry intelligence for the company’s new UV monomer product planning, formulation upgrading and market expansion, and provided a reference for its R&D team to systematically map out application tracks for UV monomers. Going forward, Jiangsu Ruiyang will keep translating cutting-edge insights into executable R&D projects to drive high-quality growth of its photocurable monomer business.
