Urban underground pipe networks serve as the lifeline of urban and rural construction, with municipal rainwater and sewage pipes, power and communication pipes underpinning new-type urbanization development. Joining forces with LESSO, a leading plastic pipe manufacturer in southwest China, GPC leverages its industrial resource advantages to achieve large-scale application of eco-friendly new material Recrystallized Gypsum in full-range pipe production, blazing a new circular economy path featuring high-value utilization of local industrial by-products and quality & efficiency improvement of local manufacturing.

Essentially a high-quality Anhydrous Phosphogypsum modified via multiple refining processes, Recrystallized Gypsum is sourced from dihydrate calcium sulfate generated in phosphoric acid production. Adopting exclusive proprietary technologies, our Group restructures its microscopic structure, effectively tackling industrial bottlenecks of traditional phosphogypsum such as excessive impurities, poor stability and weak compatibility.

Through joint technical research, the two corprorations have matched 800-2000 mesh finely modified Recrystallized Gypsum with mainstream pipe substrates including PE and PVC. Compatible with LESSO’s fully automatic extrusion and injection molding intelligent production lines, it has formed a complete matching solution covering material mixing, extrusion, forming and testing, enabling the production of full-category pipes including municipal drainage pipes, multi-hole power & communication pipes, hollow wound pipes and household drainage pipes.

In LESSO’s digital workshops, dozens of full-automatic extrusion lines operate round the clock. The feeding system realizes precise proportioning of resin and transcrystalline calcium, with real-time monitoring ensuring stable finished product performance.

Sourced from industrial by-product phosphogypsum, Recrystallized Gypsum features convenient local supply and lower logistics cost, and can directly replace high-cost fillers like calcium carbonate in equal quantity. Each ton of applied transcrystalline calcium consumes corresponding volume of phosphogypsum, facilitating the delivery of dual-carbon goals and implementation of the strategy of intensive development of superior mineral resources.

A single pipe links the high-value utilization of phosphorus chemical by-products and the upgrading of plastic manufacturing industry. Applied on Liansu’s intelligent production lines, transcrystalline calcium delivers four core strengths: superior product performance, high production efficiency, low industrial cost and low energy consumption.

Going forward, both sides will further deepen formula research and process optimization, and expand its application in high-end products such as large-diameter municipal pipes and power protection pipes. Empowering the construction of urban and rural underground pipe networks with home-grown innovative materials, they will prove that green circular development and economic benefits can be well balanced in Guizhou manufacturing practice.
