GPC Holds Inspirational Story Sharing Session for Female Role Models
Recently, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group (GPC) hosted the inspirational story sharing session themed “Reading Nourishes the Soul, Roses Bloom in Splendor” at Maluping Mine of Kaiyang Phosphate Mine. Co-organized by the Women’s Committee of the Group Trade Union, the Women’s Committee of Kailin Co., Ltd. Trade Union, and undertaken by the Women’s Committee of Kaiyang Phosphate Mine Trade Union, the event marks a key activity of the Group’s 2026 “Rose Reading” themed reading program for female employees. More than 90 female staff representatives from subsidiaries attended the session, together with trade union officials of the Group and relevant units.
At the sharing session, three outstanding female role models recounted their inspiring career journeys. The story of Han Chaoying, recipient of the Guizhou Provincial May 1st Labor Medal, was delivered by a representative. Having devoted 15 years to GPC, she has grown into a technical expert with over 30 national invention patents, embodying the dedication of female scientific and technical professionals. Liu Yuzhi, also a Provincial May 1st Labor Medal winner and inspection technician, shared her 14-year commitment to the laboratory post, safeguarding quality control with precise test data and interpreting the craftsmanship spirit of pursuing excellence. Xing Yaya, representative of the team honored with the Provincial Workers’ Pioneer Group title, introduced the team’s dedication to frontline production. The team has secured 17 patents, generated over 100 million yuan in benefits, and maintained a zero safety accident record.
During the interactive segment, participating female employees exchanged insights based on their work and expressed their resolve to learn from the role models. Relevant officials delivered concluding remarks, encouraging attendees to nurture their minds through reading, take the role models as examples, and stay committed to practical work. By sharing stories of role models from within the enterprise, the session further boosted female employees’ enthusiasm for dedication and contributed women’s strength to the high-quality development of the Group.
The activity aims to implement the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress and subsequent plenary sessions, and carry out the arrangements for the “Rose Reading” campaign. Through the format of “colleagues sharing stories of colleagues”, it promotes the spirit of model workers, the spirit of labor and the craftsmanship spirit, and guides female employees to translate what they have learned from reading into tangible achievements at work.
