Snowmelt water originating from the Kunlun Mountains flows into the production workshops of Gansu Wengfu. Used initially for filter cloth flushing, the water undergoes sedimentation, cooling and purification before being recycled and reused in core production processes without direct external discharge.

In recent years, adhering to the circular economy philosophy, Gansu Wengfu has improved water recycling networks and rationally allocated water resources, blazing a high-quality development path for green transformation in the phosphorus chemical industry.

Direct discharge of industrial wastewater from phosphorus chemical production leads to massive water waste and heavier environmental governance pressure. Starting with source control, Gansu Wengfu has built plant-wide water recycling pipe networks to collect all types of wastewater in a targeted manner and divert them to dedicated treatment systems, cutting fresh water consumption and laying a solid foundation for cascade water utilization.

Breaking the traditional mode of end-point wastewater treatment only, the company matches wastewater of different water qualities with corresponding production procedures to realize graded reuse and full resource utilization. Solid data fully proves its outstanding water-saving achievements. Supported by the full-process cascade utilization system, the annual recycled water volume exceeds 4.8 million tons.

Gansu Wengfu’s water recycling practice vividly implements the philosophy that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets. It brings green vitality to the industrial zone in the Gobi hinterland, and provides a replicable practical model for the phosphorus chemical industry to develop circular economy and advance green transformation.
