GPC Exceeds Schedule in Annual Fertilizer Supply Guarantee Task
On July 31, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group (GPC) takes safeguarding national food security as a paramount political and livelihood project. The Group demonstrates the responsibility of a state-owned enterprise with solid achievements. In the first half of the year, it produced 1.9855 million tons of conventional chemical fertilizers, fulfilling the annual supply guarantee target ahead of schedule, and offering strong support for spring farming preparation and agricultural production.
Chemical fertilizers are known as "grain for grain", contributing over 40% to grain yield growth. Since the start of this year, the National Development and Reform Commission issued the Circular on Ensuring Fertilizer Supply and Stabilizing Prices for Spring Farming and the Whole Year of 2026. Local authorities and relevant departments have earnestly implemented relevant work to guarantee fertilizer supply for agricultural production.
As a major phosphorus chemical enterprise in China, GPC coordinates production arrangement, logistics support and market supply. It vigorously carries out the initiative of "developing more varieties, improving product quality and building brand influence", expands the development space of modern fertilizers, further explores the domestic market and deploys global fertilizer businesses, so as to firmly secure China’s food supply.
On the basis of stable production and supply guarantee, the Group accelerates the optimization and upgrading of product mix, with the output of new-type fertilizers reaching 642,500 tons. It has taken solid steps toward high-end, eco-friendly and functional transformation of fertilizer products, fully embodying the commitment of "Guizhou Phosphorus" in advancing agricultural modernization.
GPC will balance short-term supply guarantee tasks and long-term industrial upgrading, and continuously contribute to the national food security strategy.
