Delving Deep into Black‑Soil Lands: GPC Joins Hands with Beidahuang to Drive Transformation and Upgrading of Phosphate Fertilizers
Since establishing a strategic‑partnership relationship with Beidahuang Group in 2006, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group (GPC) has consistently focused on national food security and built an efficient supply‑and‑marketing chain stretching directly from its fertilizer production bases to China’s “Great Granary”.

Over the years, the Group has supplied more than 3 million tons of DAP to 113 farms under Beidahuang. Its stable and reliable supply capacity has consolidated the fertilizer foundation for grain production. Built on two decades of deep‑rooted mutual trust, the two parties are jointly advancing the transformation from conventional DAP to high‑efficiency functional DAP. Through extensive trial demonstrations and agro‑technical services across the Beidahuang reclamation area, phospho‑chemical technologies help improve the quality and productivity of black soils.
Recently, GPC AgriService team went deep into the front‑line of the Beidahuang reclamation area to conduct field observation exchanges and trial‑data collection. At Gongqing Farm and Xinhua Farm under Baoquanling Administration Bureau, as well as Weishan Farm and Zhaoguang Farm under Bei’an Administration Bureau, GPC AgriService technicians compared the field performance of 60% high‑efficiency DAP versus 64% conventional DAP for farm technicians and large‑scale growers according to real‑time crop growth conditions. From multiple dimensions of plant development, the team analyzed the prominent technical advantages of high‑efficiency DAP in matching nutrient‑release mechanisms and improving fertilizer‑uptake efficiency.
In addition, regarding growers’ widespread concerns over tight supply of 64% conventional DAP, the technical team offered objective interpretations from macro perspectives including raw‑material supply patterns, international‑market volatility, capacity layout and supply‑demand balance. It pointed out that promoting 60% high‑efficiency DAP is not only an effective measure to cope with supply fluctuations of regular 64% DAP, but also a feasible path to stable yields and increased farm income.
Going forward, GPC will continue to make efforts on Northeast China’s black‑soil lands. Responding to practical planting demands of Beidahuang, the Group will accelerate the promotion and application of functional high‑efficiency fertilizers. Both sides will jointly improve the grassroots‑oriented agro‑service system and optimize the supply structure of agricultural materials.
