On September 7 to 8, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group (GPC) organized a special training seminar on the development of the new fertilizer industry. Dr. Mingxian Fan, a world-renowned expert in agriculture and fertilizer technology, was invited to deliver keynote lectures.
Training Seminar On-site
Dr. Fan holds a PhD in Agriculture and Fertilizer Science from McGill University, Canada, and currently serves as Director of the Plant Nutrition and Fertilizer Technology Department at the International Zinc Association. He has achieved fruitful research accomplishments in resource utilization of phosphorus and zinc as well as the R&D of functional fertilizers.
Adopting an on-site plus online dual-channel format, the training focused on three major themes: innovative development and new product practices of the world’s leading fertilizer enterprises, technological progress in phosphorus resource utilization and comprehensive phosphogypsum utilization, and the latest global fertilizer industry developments and precision agriculture applications.
Combined with cutting-edge trends of the global fertilizer industry, Dr. Fan systematically introduced the latest practices of major international fertilizer companies in new fertilizer R&D and product innovation. He thoroughly analyzed advanced technologies and typical cases for efficient phosphorus resource utilization and comprehensive phosphogypsum recycling, and conducted in-depth exchanges with participants on precision agriculture applications and fertilizer efficiency improvement.
Participants commented that the training integrated global vision with practical operational guidance, providing valuable insights for grasping fertilizer technological innovation trends and expanding approaches for high-value phosphogypsum utilization. Against the backdrop of agricultural modernization and green chemical development, technological upgrading of fertilizers and resource recycling of industrial by-products have become core industry focuses. The seminar offered new ideas and practical paths for GPC’s product upgrading and green transformation.
As an important initiative to drive technological innovation and industrial upgrading, the training enables GPC’s R&D, production and marketing teams to keep abreast of global industry trends. It inspires innovative solutions for phosphogypsum resource utilization and new fertilizer development, further strengthens the Group’s core competitiveness in the new fertilizer sector, and supports high-quality corporate development.
