Over 3,800 Authorized Patents Form the "Guizhou Phosphate" Innovation System

Recently, Journalists have learned from Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group that by focusing on world-class technical challenges such as the utilization of medium-low grade phosphate ores and wet-process phosphoric acid purification, the Group has accumulated over 3,800 authorized patents to accelerate the construction of a globally competitive phosphorus chemical innovation system, injecting strong momentum into safeguarding national resource security and promoting industrial upgrading.

Taking the "Fine Exploitation of Rich Ores" as the main line, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group has established a full-chain technical system of "fine mining - precise ore matching - intensive ore utilization"—

The innovative "shaft drilling rig construction cutting" method has shortened the ore body cutting time year-on-year, successfully improving underground mining efficiency. By applying mine digitalization software, it has achieved dynamic balance of "mining-stripping-dumping," ensuring all recoverable ores are mined and reducing ore loss. The current mining loss rate is far lower than the national green mine construction standard.

The developed beneficiation technology for medium-low grade phosphate ores has reduced the ore grade from 30% to 24%, extending China's phosphate ore service life by 15 years.

The globally first-invented technology for recovering associated fluorine resources from phosphate ores extracts and prepares anhydrous hydrogen fluoride from ores with 3% fluorine content, recognized as the "Sixth Batch of National Single Champion in Manufacturing."

State Key Laboratory of Medium-Low Grade Phosphate Ores

By deepening the reform of scientific and technological innovation systems and mechanisms, the "challenge-response" mechanism has gradually taken effect. Focusing on core technologies such as phosphorus chemistry and associated fluorine resource utilization, relying on the industry's only state key laboratory, it has built an innovation consortium of "universities-institutes-enterprises", collaborating with over 20 units to form a transformation chain of "laboratory-pilot-industrialization." The development and application of technologies such as the "bolted roof sublevel open stoping with bolt support" and "phosphochemical full-waste self-cementing backfill mining technology" have successfully increased China's phosphate ore mining rate to over 80%. These two technological achievements have respectively won the First and Second Prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.

Adhering to digital transformation as the driver of industrial change, the Group has established a digital transformation leading group, a cross-departmental joint implementation team, and a monthly scheduling mechanism to promote strategic, operational, and technical coordination. Focusing on the two aspects of "management domain" and "business domain," it has built nine digital management systems, including intelligent logistics, intelligent marketing, PhosCloud intelligent mining, engineering, R&D, expense sharing, invoices & electronic archives, and treasury, accelerating the refinement and intelligence of management processes. It has deeply promoted the construction and application of production management and control systems such as PID, APC, and MES. Through precise data application, it has reduced coal consumption per production unit of DAP, empowering the rapid development of Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group's modern agriculture, fine chemicals, and new energy industries, and continuously injecting new impetus into achieving the goal of "Trillion-level Phosphorus, World Leader".
