Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group's Lithium Hexafluorophosphate products has entered the international market
Recently, 24 tons of Lithium Hexafluorophosphate products from Guizhou Phosphate Chemical New Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group, were shipped from Shanghai Port to South Korea after passing customs inspection. This marks the first export of Lithium Hexafluorophosphate from Guizhou's new energy materials sector, signifying the successful entry of the product into the international market and representing an important achievement of Guizhou Phosphate Chemical Group in deepening reforms, transforming and upgrading.
It is understood that Lithium Hexafluorophosphate is the core solute material in lithium-ion battery electrolytes liquid. Its purity directly affects the conductivity, cycle life, and safety performance of batteries. Also, it is widely used in new energy vehicles, energy storage equipment, and other fields. As a key material with high technical barriers, its production process has long been monopolized by a few international chemical enterprises.
In November 2023, Guizhou Phosphate Chemical New Energy Co., Ltd.'s 10,000-ton Lithium Hexafluorophosphate Project was put into operation, filling the gap in this field in Guizhou Province and laying the foundation for building a fluorine-based electrolyte industrial chain for new energy materials. As the first production line in the province, facing the dual challenges of the new energy materials market entering an overcapacity stage ahead of schedule and the need for technological breakthroughs and process optimization, the Guizhou Phosphate Chemical New Energy Co., Ltd. set up a special technical team. Through thousands of parameter adjustments and equipment optimizations, it finally broke through the bottleneck of product quality stability, achieving dual improvements in production efficiency and product performance.
